A Morning Surrounded by Love

Before the ceremony, I had the honor of spending the morning with both C & B as they got ready, each in the homes of their favorite people. These weren’t just any getting-ready spaces, they were full of memories, comfort, and the people who know them best.

The bride got ready at her cousins house, where laughter echoed through the halls, coffee was always within reach, and the energy felt like a sleepover mixed with celebration. I captured quiet moments like her mom helping with the final buttons of the dress, the tearful hug between friends, and the way her face lit up when she saw herself fully ready for the first time.

While the groom got ready at his best friends home, conviently located near their firehouse where of course I had to take them for some must have portraits!

Portraits with Personality (and Gorgeous Light!)

After the ceremony, we took a short walk into the surrounding woods for portraits. The sun was starting to set, casting that golden-hour glow that makes everything feel like magic.

C & B were total naturals, laughing, cuddling, exploring the forest together. I guided them just enough to get the shots while letting them simply enjoy each other. That’s when the most authentic images happen.
